Slate-throated Redstart (Myioborus miniatus)

Great Horned Owl
The Slate-throated Redstart (Myioborus miniatus) occurs in several subspecies from Mexico (rarely in the USA) to the highlands of the northern half of South America. The color of the belly plumage changes gradually from red in the north to yellow in the south. The orange-red belly of this bird identifies it as the subspecies M. m. hellmayri, seen in the Pacific slope highlands of Guatemala.
