First documentation of Passerculus sandwichensis wetmorei since the type specimens were collected more than 100 years ago. First nesting record, first description of juvenile plumage and male song, and estimation of population density of the wetmorei subspecies of Savannah Sparrow, endemic to the highlands of Guatemala:
